YouTube Playback Speed Options Missing (Only Shows “4x”) — Web Compatibility Issue

Description of the issue:
On YouTube, the playback speed menu randomly breaks.
It shows only one option: “4x” and all other speeds (0.25x → 2x, Normal, Custom) are missing.
Restarting Brave temporarily fixes it, but the issue returns after some time.

Exact URL of the website in question:
https://www.youtube.com

Did the issue present with default Shields settings? (yes/no)
Yes.

Does the site function as expected when Shields are turned off?
Partially — turning Shields OFF sometimes restores playback speed options,
but the issue returns again later even with Shields OFF.

Is there a specific Shields configuration that causes the site to break? If so, tell us that configuration. (yes/no):
Yes.
Enabling Fingerprinting protection (Strict / Block) consistently causes YouTube to lose playback speed options.
Even after switching fingerprinting back to Standard, the problem sometimes continues until Brave is restarted.

Does the site work as expected when using Chrome?
Yes — all playback speeds appear normally in Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.
Issue occurs only in Brave.

Brave version (check About Brave):
Brave is up to date
Brave 1.84.141 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Chromium: 142.0.7444.176

Why do you have this? Strict fingerprinting was removed from Brave in general. I take it you enabled the experimental flag in order to try to have it?

The reason why strict fingerprinting was removed is that it breaks content and had no real benefit to user privacy.

If the issue is just strictly related to this setting that’s enabled via flags, I’m not sure how much can or would be done. So let me just confirm, if you keep it on Standard the issue doesn’t happen?
