YouTube Music is not loading in Brave on my Android phone. Whenever I search for https://music.youtube.com/, it redirects me to vnd.youtube.music://music.youtube.com/?mweb_deeplink=1. This issue is happening only with my account. Why is this happening, and is there any solution?
Same problem here. For the time being my workaround is to just open page in desktop mode. It’s inconvenient, since the UI is not very suitable for phone, but I didn’t found any other solution

I’ve experienced some issues with brave browser in the last weeks. There was an issue where background auto play just stops when the phone is locked. Few days earlier, the issue was fixed and everything was doing good.
Now from today morning, YouTube music doesn’t even load in the browser. (BTW, YouTube works fine).
Same problem. Started this night. They’re definitely doing something to keep us redirected to the app. It only adds this to the URL when I’m logged in, it works on a fresh tab. No cookies related either, deleted them and the problem continued. Only solution so far was turning “desktop mode” on.
It’s something with the YouTube Music and Brave’s handshake.
Looks like they’re challenging us on how far we’ll go not paying them to play music with no ads and screen off.

If YouTube Music doesn’t load in Brave, try switching to desktop mode — that fixed it for me instantly. Seems like a mobile + Brave Shields issue.
@nnm0a that setting is already turned on for me, on march 19 morning everything was fine until around 12-13 then when i left work at 17 this is what showed up. Private window work and if i turn pc version on normal window it does also work. I also cleared cache and everything but still nothing.

I had the same issue and “Open YouTube links in Brave” IS the root of the problem, not the fix. Just disable it and it works again. Looks to me like brave is trying to redirect something and messes up the page.
No need to disable shield or anything else

Doing what you said just opens the YT music app itself for me. So the problem still exists. Or I got to put up with YT ads 
An update. I opened a brave private tab and I could then get to https://music.youtube.com/ which is good but obviously it doesn’t remember my favourites or previous stuff.
You need to uninstall or disable the YouTube music app ofc, duh

The fix is simple: disable the “Open YouTube links in Brave” setting in Brave’s Media settings.
Instructions
Step 1 — Go to Settings.
Step 2 — In the left sidebar, scroll down and click on “Media”.
Step 3 — Look for the toggle labeled:
“Open YouTube links in Brave”
Step 4 — Turn it OFF.
Step 5 — Restart Brave Browser (close completely and reopen).
Step 6 — Navigate to music.youtube.com — it should now load correctly.
