I am experiencing issues with youtube when I use the Brave browser. Content that I look at is being restricted (the chat area is not appearing as well as the comment section. I also tried to log into another account (Not Youtube) and received a 403 error message, but when I used another browser I had no issues. What’s going on with Brave?

As for your issue, can you please tell me what OS and Brave version you’re using? Additionally, can you please try opening a Guest profile window (Menu --> More tools --> Guest profile), visiting Youtube in the Guest profile and see if the same issue occurs?
I use the most updated IOS Ans the most updated
Brave browser. I deleted brave and reinstalled to make sure I had the most current

Shields/Adblock shouldn’t restrict. There is VPN, Country and Age/Login restrictions, but unrelated to Brave or adblocking.
I was able to access YouTube content in another browser.
I don’t have a Guest Profile window/it’s not an item that’s listed when I go into the Brave menu (the three dots).
Can you please share a screenshot of exactly what you see on your end when you try to visit youtube?
I’m also unable to access Youtube through Brave. Youtube will open on other browsers no problem and it also opens through Brave on my s23 Ultra, but not on the pc.
Reporting the same issue. Youtube will load in a private window, but not in my normal one. Also went to components and updated everything there. No change.
Then 99% of the time this means it’s cookies or extensions.
So try disabling extensions if you’re on desktop.
Or clear cookies. Most likely can get away with just clearing Google and YouTube cookies (they share information with each other), but otherwise need to clear all cookies for all time.
Using the Experimental list in brave://settings/shields/filters ?

When I watch a live video the right side of screen shows suggested videos but the live chat is missing. That’s on all videos as well.
