Recently, I’ve been having issues with YouTube where videos will freeze while watching videos. Usually happens in full screen. My OS is Mac Monterey, and this just started now. I have already tried deleting all data, but the issue persists.
Do you have graphics acceleration enabled at brave://settings/system?

Yes, I am using: Billy Button (Inbox dollars), Bitwarden Password manager (although I might dump it), Clear URLs, DuckDuckGo, Google dictionary, Fluff Busting
purity (Facebook purity), Grammarly, HTTPS everywhere, MalwareByte Browser guard, Privacy bager, Password generator, return YouTube dislike, Paypal Honey, Smart Emoji Keyboard, and Yougov safe.
Also, yes I am using Graphics acceleration. Should I turn that off?
Are you experiencing this issue if you access Youtube in a Private Window or new profile? (Menu → More Tools → Add New Profile)
I experience it outside of a private window. It’s hard to explain, sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn’t, it’s a 50/50 shot.
I am experiencing it, in normal mode and in private mode.

I see follow-up questions, but no answers. I advocate for Brave professionally but may need to stop.
I restart my system almost daily now because of Brave. Today’s restart had 28 processes running, over 20 were just a Brave icon in Task Manager. They changed something…
So, any solutions? I haven’t had it in the last couple of days, but it can still happen.
