YouTube autoplay looping the same video (Not playing next)

Description of the issue: Hey everyone, I’ve been running into a frustrating playback bug with YouTube on Brave recently. Whenever a video finishes playing with Autoplay turned on, it doesn’t move on to the next video in the queue. Instead, it just loops and plays the exact same video from the beginning.

The only way I can get the next video to actually play is if I click the “X” button on the player and manually reload the page. Once reloaded, it works for a bit, but then the bug comes right back.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary):

  1. Open YouTube in Brave and ensure Autoplay is turned ON.
  2. Watch any video completely to the end.
  3. Instead of transitioning to the next suggested video, the current video restarts.

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!): YouTube should automatically load and play the next video in the queue.

You might have an extension that’s repeating the same YouTube videos. I recommend disabling any extensions you have, reloading the page, and seeing if that works.
