Description of the issue:
Brave Browser window resizes to a narrow vertical slice, when trying to resize from full-height state sticking to the left screen border.
How can this issue be reproduced?
-
Open a new browser window.
-
Resize it to the left half-screen by Win + Left arrow.
-
Click on the right window border and drag to resize.
-
Observe window becoming very narrow, sticking to the left border; window’s height may become more than full screen height if dragging continues.
Expected result: Window is properly resized, following the mouse cursor.
Brave Version: Brave 1.84.130 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Chromium: 142.0.7444.53 / Ubuntu 24.04.3 Wayland
Additional Information:
- I can’t reproduce the issue if the window sticks to the right side of the screen. My dock is configured to be on the left side and is in auto-hide mode.
- The issue is reproducible in the nightly build.
- I have a screen recording of the issue, but apparently I’m not allowed to attach files to the post, so here is a link: https://limewire.com/d/JqnlR#20VRs7PjNn .
