I’ve noticed that these newer versions of Brave don’t have the option Autocomplete searches and URLs anymore. It have the option on brave://settings/appearance but not on brave://settings/privacy, which make the function not to work anymore. When I’m typing things on the address bar, the suggestions don’t appear like on old versions.
