Description of the issue:

Ads displayed in blank tabs, appears they are coming from the browser itself

Open a tab

Additional Information:

I use Brave to get away form ads and have all the crypto and rewards stuff turned off, Why is the browser itself inserting ad banners in blank tabs?

This is also happening to me.

Every fourth tab opened displays the Western Digital Logo. This is not acceptable.

Can you please share a screenshot of the ad you’re describing, as well as tell me what Brave version you’re currently using?

Thanks for the info. I wasn’t aware of the new “feature”. I have turned them off.
