Website returns 'Forbidden / Access Denied' error message even with Shields 'off'

When I got the error message below clicking on a link on a corporate website webpage, I tried it in Chrome, where it worked.

I concluded that it was a Shields Up issue and so back in Brave I turned them all off.

The page reloaded with Shields off.

However, when I clicked on the link I got the same error message again:

Unsure what’s causing it, but re-tested in Brave Beta, seems to work okay there.
