In many sites there are automatic gifs, that on mobile consuming data for nothing… It would be good to have an option to disable these gifs.

New user here, Hi all.
Really liking Brave but if I cannot block gifs I cannot use it.
Seen a few threads dating back a few years here asking for this or autoplay blocking, Is this ever likely to happen ?
