vBAT balance lost after connecting back to Uphold

Briefly describe your issue:

I was previously unable to link back my rewards to Uphold and hence collected rewards locally for a couple of years due to this issue which now seems fixed: Assistance with unlinking wallets from Uphold

Just tried to connect again following the warning to do so before Nov 1st, connection to Uphold worked but my local balance was lost: only my Uphold balance is shown, and the past years’ earnings have disappeared.

What Operating System and Brave version are you using?

1.59.124 on macOS 12.6.1

@Maxweel this is expected behavior. When you connect to Uphold, your browser balance goes to 0 and it’s processed through Brave befroe getting sent to your Uphold account. Small amounts of BAT tend to arrive within 24 hours, while larger amounts may not arrive until the following payout period (which would be November 7).

If it has been a day or two since you linked, then I’d suggest to create a Rewards Support Ticket at https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360001302431 so Brave can check to make sure there’s no issues and help resolve any potential problems.
