Update for brave page opens but can't do anything

I downloaded update for brave and now the page does not respond. I have uninstalled and installed it several times. That did not work

Windows 10

The update came up today. First I have seen of it

Page is dropped or will not load

The actual problem was posted in the info line of the notice I sent through message board
