Unable to turn on Brave rewards ads on mobile browser

When I click on the brave rewards button on the mobile browser and go to settings the toggle for ads is switched off, I click on it and nothing happens, however I can toggle the auto-contribute and off

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Brave rewards button
  2. Settings
  3. Ads on/off toggle

Expected result:
For ads to be turned on

Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.23.71
