Unable to Link ZebPay on Android – "Device Limit Reached" & OAuth Errors, Error 400

Briefly describe your issue:

I’m unable to link Brave Rewards on my Android device with my ZebPay account. Initially, I got the error:
“accounts limit reached”, but later it changed to “something went wrong”.

Here are the error logs from my Android Brave browser:

[ERROR:post_oauth_zebpay.cc(101)] Unexpected status code! (HTTP 400)
[ERROR:connect_zebpay_wallet.cc(76)] Couldn’t exchange code for the access token
[ERROR:post_connect.cc(117)] Device limit reached

ERROR:conversion_resource.cc(68)] Failed to load and parse nnqccijfhvzwyrxpxwjrpmynaiazctqb conversion resource

I also tried linking Brave Wallet—but that failed too.

Currently, ZebPay is connected on only two devices:

  1. My Android phone (which is having the issue)

  2. My Linux laptop (which connects successfully every time)

However, I often hard reset my Android, so it’s possible Brave sees each reset as a new Rewards profile, causing multiple hidden entries.

I also tried disconnecting ZebPay from my laptop and reconnecting on mobile—but that didn’t work. Strangely, reconnecting on my laptop still works fine, which makes me think it’s either:

  • a device limit issue, or

  • a problem with Android/Brave on mobile.

Also, my ZebPay account currently has 0 BAT, though I’m unsure if a minimum balance is required for linking.
