Description of the issue: When you type into the Brave Leo input box to ask a question in the iOS Brave browser, if what you type is more than a few lines long, you can no longer see what you’re typing, and you also lose the ability to place the cursor anywhere except at the beginning. If you click “done” and then re-touch into the input box, you’re still stuck only being able to place the cursor at the beginning, and you can’t scroll past the first few visible lines of what you’re written. This makes it very difficult to type anything other than a fairly short question.
This can be reproduced by simply typing into the Brave Leo input box in the iOS Brave browser, and type more than a few lines of text. Once you get past a few lines, the issue manifests. If you want to make an edit at that point, or if you click ‘Done’ and go back to try to edit what you’ve written, you can’t do it. You can only type into the beginning of the input box, not the end and not the middle.
This happens on iOS with the latest (current) version of the Brave browser 1.91.1 released on July 9. It also happened with the previous version. And maybe it also happened with versions before that, but I only recently started using Brave Leo (Premium) on iOS 26.5.
It happened when there was no Brave Leo chat history as well as when there is some chat history saved. It happens in a new conversation or an old one. It’s easily reproducible by simply typing enough lines of text into the input box that you run out of room to see what you’re typing (several+ lines). At that point you’re typing blindly. And you have no ability to see what you’re typing or if you made a mistake. And you have no ability to place the cursor anywhere other than the beginning of the text.
