Trying to see saved passwords on Chromebook

Hello there, I’ve been using brave for over a year and wanted to copy my saved passwords. I’m on chromebook so it’s the mobile version on the app, and whenever I try to see the password it says set up a lockscreen for my device. Is there anyway around this?

Nope. It uses password from your device for part of encryption and to keep things safe. If no password is set up, you won’t be able to see saved passwords.

I know I have my lock screen set up for my chromebook, so this just confuses me
