Having a to-do list or calendar as a card option would be nice, and would reduce the need for someone to download a separate extension to change the new tab page
Adding a built-in, privacy-conserving calendar into Brave that is in sync across devices would indeed be extremely useful, since many extensions use personally identifiable information.
@Saoiray Any chance this can/will be implemented at some point, or that this request is at least on the radar of the developers?

You can use Proton Calendar since it’s open source and privacy preserving
