The installer failed to start

The Brave software informed me that there is a new version, so I downloaded a small file, which then launches the download of other files. I can see it downloads some additional files but I quickly get to a screen that says “The installer failed to start.” I have waited and then tried it again a couple of times but I get the same result.

Hi, have you already tried to download and install the setup file manually from brave.com/download?
