The browser closes randomly

Description of the issue:
After updating to the latest build, the browser randomly closes at any time, there were no problems on the previous build, tried to reinstall, clearing the data does not help, the browser can close immediately, maybe in a minute, etc.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Just open and wait from 10 seconds to several minutes

Expected result:
The browser just closes and that’s it.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.6.1-1.6.2

Mobile Device details
OnePlus 5t 8/128
Installed DerpFest Android 10 firmware latest build December, 31st

Additional Information:
There were no problems on the previous build, everything worked perfectly.

I have noticed the same on an Android 5 device beginning with Brave 1.6.x . Fortunately these crashes are rather seldom and only happen every few days. Not a big issue for me so far.

Hi @Termich - thanks for reporting. That’s really strange behavior. Can you try deleting and re-downloading the app?
