The Brave browser definitely needs many important improvements

If I search for Barcelona vs Atlético in the browser (tomorrow’s match, February 12th), Brave shows me something completely different. If I search for Barcelona vs Atlético in the browser (tomorrow’s match, February 12th), Brave shows me something completely different.

Very different from other browsers like Chrome

Brave is my favorite, but the browser needs a huge upgrade.

I believe you are confusing Brave Browser for Brave Search. Both Brave products, but not the same product, as if you go to Google.com on Brave and run the search, you should get similar or identical results (as Google does personalize if you’re signed in or not).

@Kassak516 what @MasterLink said is correct – Brave Search is a separate entity from Brave browser, although we do obviously make/manage both of them. But since they are separate, the browser has no bearing on the search results you’re seeing.

If you go to search.brave.com in Chrome or Firefox or Edge or any other browser, you’ll get the same results.

That said, these kids of issues with Brave Search come up from time to time and we are always working on fine tuning the results that appear for these kids of searches. I have forwarded your report to the search team for review.

I understand, but still, I don’t want to use Google.com in Brave, so they really should improve that aspect; Brave Search is tedious.

Thank you, and yes. I hope they improve it; it’s what they need so we can all stop using alternative browsers and finally use only Brave.

Again, just to reiterate, the browser and Search are separate things.

Understood, but reporting these problems or issues is incredibly complicated. I think it’s just as difficult as the Search function… It’s really tedious to understand how the community works. So the only thing I found that was understandable was the Brave browser. That’s why I pinned it to those topics.
