Text line appears constantly on all content

Description of the issue: the blinking vertical text line appears everywhere, including in the middle of video players such as youtube and on random websites. I do not know the cause for this issue.
can be removed by using any text box on another application on another monitor.

This is called “caret browsing”. You can disable this by tapping F7 on your keyboard (you may need to use Fn + F7 depending on how your keyboard is setup).
