Tabs Refresh when I click on them

I have multiple windows open with multiple tabs in each window. Recently, the tabs started automatically refreshing when I click on them.

In my search I read that:

  1. “Switching off the hardware acceleration does not help.”
  2. “switched off all plug-ins and switched them on again one after the other. Maybe it was the ZenMate (VPN) plugin.”
    I do not have any plugins that I am aware of and I do not have ZanMate.
  3. “For me Fractal ID Wallet extension was causing this problem. So I had to disable it.”
    I do not have this extension.

Brave is up to date
