Swipe between pages still does not work

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Install Brave on Linux, Wayland

  2. Settings > Accessibility > Swipe between pages

  3. Set toggle to on.

Observed result: The button / toggle does nothing.

Expected result:

A 2 finger swipe from the left should go to the previous page and from the right, should go the next page (if available)

Brave Version( check About Brave): Brave 1.89.141 (Official Build) (64-bit), Chromium: 147.0.7727.102
