Stuck at 0 SOL: Unable to create BAT account for Self-Custody

Hello,

I am trying to connect my Brave Rewards to my Exodus wallet on the Solana network. I am in a region where custodial partners (Uphold/Gemini) are unavailable, so self-custody is my only option.

I am stuck because I have 0 SOL in my wallet to pay the “Associated Token Account” (ATA) fee to create the BAT account. Every faucet I’ve tried is either offline or invalid.

Could a moderator please help me initialize my BAT account or provide guidance on how to get past this 0 SOL requirement?

A small amount of SOL is required to create the Associated Token Account (ATA) for Basic Attention Token (BAT). This is a special type of account on Solana that is created to hold BAT on your Solana address. You can learn more about the requirement here.
