Feature Request: Split Autofill Providers (Passwords vs. Addresses & Forms)
Description
On Brave for Android, the current autofill implementation is an “all-or-nothing” choice: users must either set Brave as the global autofill service or hand it over entirely to a third-party manager (like Bitwarden).
This creates a subpar user experience. Dedicated password managers are excellent for credentials but often struggle with, or don’t support, filling out standard web forms (names, phone numbers, shipping addresses).
I would like to request a combination/split autofill option that allows Brave to handle addresses and forms while a third-party service handles passwords.
Proposed Solution
Users should be able to:

Select a third-party provider (e.g., Bitwarden, 1Password) exclusively for Passwords.

Allow Brave to independently handle Addresses and more (Name, Phone, Email, Shipping info).
Why this is important

Enhanced UX: Users don’t have to choose between secure password management and the convenience of quick form-filling.

Flexibility: It accommodates users who trust Brave’s privacy-centric browser features but rely on external, ecosystem-agnostic password managers.
