I love the Brave browser, but my biggest issue is the bookmarks sorting, and how they appear in the bookmarks manager. One of the biggest requirements for me is when I save a bookmark, I want that bookmark to show as the most recent, and I want it to be at the top.
For now, Brave only puts the most recent bookmarks at the bottom, which means I have to always scroll all the way down to see that bookmark, which is annoying and not ideal. I want to see all recent bookmarks put at the top, not at the bottom of the saved bookmarks in the bookmarks manager.
Right now, I accidentally clicked on sort by name, and now all my bookmarks are sorted alphabetically, which I did not want to do. I went back to the settings, and there is no current way to get the bookmarks to be resorted back to most recent to oldest. I need these issues addressed and fixed. I appreciate it very much, and thank you.
Have you checked for extensions? I know there used to be some good sorting extensions but I don’t know that they allow for a custom or “user sort” but I haven’t looked in years.
Thank you. I can not believe I did not think of that. I believe I tried to find an extension a while back that did that, and it did not do the sorting correctly. I found a great and highly rated extension called “Booksorter” that sorts by new to older, and puts the newest saved bookmarks at the top, something Brave should have been doing to begin with. I could not do without this extension after I installed it today. I just went to the Chrome Web Store and found the extension and clicked on add to Brave. Then you can just pin the extensions to your toolbar if you want for easier access.
