But also: if it’s OS-dependent, why suddenly after years of misspelling “necessary” did the spell check start showing total gibberish as the “correct” spelling shortly after switching to Brave? I screw up that word all the time and never had an issue correcting it. Oddly enough, just now it showed the correct spelling as the only suggested replacement. It’s been like a month since that’s happened. Weird. Anyway… can someone just delete this seeing I don’t seem be allowed?

Can you provide an example of this? I believe that the browser spell check is actually just using spell checker that comes with the OS you’re using, rather than the browser itself.
