Currently the setting up of the self-hosted sync server is complicated and somehow hardware demanding. I am wondering that whether there is a way to wrap the secured syncing data in a folder storing on a Webdav server (publicly or private), and browsers using the same folder get synced. As you know, both brave.com and sync-v2.brave.com are blocked by China Great Firewall, users in China cannot access the brave sync service at present., while a self-hosted webdav server is much easier to setup. Thank you for consideration!
