I would like the sidebar with my bookmarks to open automatically when I start Brave. I have to open it manually every time I start Brave. E.g Vivaldi browser, also based on Chromium, can handle this.
Furthermore, it would be better and more convenient if the bookmarks and folders could be opened as a tree view, as is possible with Firefox. You wouldn’t have to click on each folder individually and then go back again.
If you go to brave://settings/appearance you can set it so that the sidebar always shows but yeah I suppose you’ll have to click on the bookmarks button on the bar as it will not stay open at launch. One thing you could do is set a keyboard shortcut (brave://settings/system/shortcuts) to show the bookmarks in the sidebar which may make it less hassle to open every time.
