I thought if I used Brave, I would be able to log on to any site and nobody would be able to find out who I am. If Brave does not provide this, then I might as well use google or any other browser and why would I be using Brave instead?

It sounds like you might want to use Tor browser instead.

Brave provides private and secure browsing. If anonymity is your concern, Tor is the right choice.
