We have a Bookmark Manager where we can search and organize our Bookmarks, but nothing like this for Tab Groups. This feature feels incomplete without it, particularly with the tendency to miss or forget “Inactive” Tabs and Groups on mobile. Over time this leads to hundreds of, often unnamed, groups which are extremely difficult to sort through without so much as a flyout preview of the Tabs in the Group without opening it.
To paint a more comprehensive picture of what I envision, it includes the following elements:
- Add Tab Groups to Search Tabs Window (Ctrl +Shift +A ), each with a checkbox filter to search one or the other or both.
- Add Search Filter box to the Tab Groups Window when clicking the icon on the New Tab page, also with a toggle for searching either Groups alone, or interior Tabs also.
- Add a “Tab Groups Manager” to the “Bookmarks and lists” Menu to allow us to view all Tab Groups and their Tabs, similar to how the Bookmarks Manager allows us to view our Bookmarks and Folder organization, and to Search and Drag and Drop to Organize, Combine, Divide, and Delete them.
- Expand the new Leo AI Organize feature to integrate with the above, particularly #3.
If I had to choose ONE to work on first, it would absolutely be the Tab Groups Manager, because I have many dozens, if not hundreds of Groups already, mostly unnamed, and surely several similar / duplicate Groups that I would like to reorganize into more permanent Groups rather than the transient nature they currently take on.

That last request highlights many advantages of Workspaces, which I’m fully on board with, chief of which (in my book at least) is that:
This request focuses on the Opera GX Workspaces, which I’ve never used, but sounds brilliant. Honestly, Opera is coming out with some downright ingenious and unique features. I never thought I’d see the day. I used to hate it, but it may be time to give it another chance.
