SDR slider in Windows 11 settings does not affect brightness in Brave

Description of the issue:
I recently had to turn on hardware acceleration for Brave because my CPU was having trouble displaying Brave windows. When I did everything on my HDR monitor got very dim. WIndows 11 has a specific slider that changes SDR content when you have HDR enabled but for some reason it doesn’t affect content in Brave.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Make sure hardware acceleration is enabled. Settings > System > Use hardware acceleration when available
  2. Make sure SDR content is displayed in Brave
  3. In Windows Settings go to System > Display > HDR
  4. Make sure HDR is enabled and move the slider labeled “SDR content brightness”

Expected result:
Brightness of content changes

Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.56.14

Additional Information:
This works correctly in latest version of Chrome
