Scroll is lagging (until restart)

Description of the issue: On many websites scrolling is lagged after using the browser a while, but this didn’t happen before. It gets back to normal after restarting Brave, but after a while it starts happening again.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open some websites with big contents (youtube, x, reddit, whatever).

  2. Keep the browser open for several hours, normal usage

  3. Scroll

Expected result: Should scroll smoothly

Brave Version( check About Brave):

Brave 1.82.170 (Official Build) (arm64)

Chromium: 140.0.7339.186

Additional Information: Not sure if it started after upgrading to macOS 26 or to the latest version of Brave. I did both on the same day.
