How can I save a bookmark to my Android home screen?

The menu-item name varies depending on which site you are currently visiting.

It will be one of the following:

  • add to home screen
  • install app

how to

Open the main (3 dot) menu and select the item described above.

Then you will either have it automatically created, or a widget popup will be shown to confirm shortcut creation.
