Feature Request: Brave “No Crypto” Version or Mode.

Hi Brave Team,

I really like Brave for its speed, ad and tracker blocking, and strong privacy features on desktop and mobile (Android and iOS). However, even after turning off Rewards and Wallet, many crypto-related icons and features still remain visible.

I would love to see an official “No Crypto” version or a simple toggle that fully removes all crypto parts, including Rewards, the Wallet, the triangle icon, and any other related UI elements. Brave Rewards would stay turned off while providing a truly clean, privacy-focused browser with nothing extra.

A lot of us see the crypto and wallet parts as bloatware we don’t need in the browser.

Many Brave users just want privacy and speed without crypto distractions. You can keep the current version with all crypto features for those who want them.

Brave team, please give all users the choice to have either no crypto or crypto features on both desktop and mobile.

Thanks for considering this. Brave is the best browser I have ever used.

At this time, you can completely disable Crypto features (among others) in the desktop browser by way of Group Policy:

Also worth noting that we have Brave Origin in the works that will allow this as well:

Oh, for sure. I know this is a super late reply (My bad), but glad to see I’m not the only one thinking this way.

Hi, thanks for that Group Policy option is all good. What if you are on Windows 11 Home version?

@LoneWolfza Group Policy should work fine there as well.
