It was months and months worth of revenue. What is the point of this system at all if I can’t even withdraw until I reach like a year’s worth of ads and can only use some proprietary wallet? That’s not how crypto is supposed to work…
You should have linked it to Uphold so it could be kept with Uphold, or you could have donated to your own Brave Creators account which is stored with Brave on the cloud.
At this point it might be a little too late though, since you’ve reinstalled it.
By the way, why couldn’t you withdraw until you had a year’s worth of ads? Are you using Android?
It seems you didn’t read my original post very carefully, as everything you said is unhelpful.
- You can’t link to uphold until you have 15 BAT, that’s the whole entire issue.
- I still have access to the hard drive with the old Browser on it.
- It’s a PC, hence the hard drive and the reinstalling of the OS. It takes a very, very long time to earn any meaningful amount of BAT.
Hey @TelFiRE ! Welcome to the community
If you were on a desktop device, there is no limit to connect your wallet to Uphold, only that you had a verified Uphold account.
Porridge
@GreenBananaPorridge Doesn’t this post say that 15 BAT requirement is for Desktop device as well-
Or do you mean that users can independently verify with Uphold and connect their browser wallet with that Uphold account even when no instance of Brave browser wallet has been connected to that Uphold account previously? This would be a cool feature.
You can have an Uphold account without Brave and once that account is verified you can connect to an unverified desktop Brave and it will work.
Porridge
You don’t need any BAT requirement to link desktop browsers to Uphold. Even 0.05 BAT is fine. Only Android has the limit.
Anyway, that’s not a very friendly thing to say. Neither is it a nice thing to open your very first post in the community with an attack on BAT, and your 2nd post with an attack on another forum user.
What OS are you using? What kind of restore/reinstall setting did you use? If it’s Windows, Brave user data is inside the C:/Users folder regardless which drive you installed Brave to. And unfortunately C: drive is typically also the OS drive. So that’s why I suggested it’s too late - your BAT data is probably gone now.
Your post was rude, you just ignored everything I said. And your latest response is STILL ignoring what I said. I literally told you twice now I installed to a NEW HARD DRIVE and STILL HAVE THE OLD ONE. Do you know what a HARD DRIVE is? Good lord, you’re an idiot.
Forget it. I don’t care about BAT any more. Sticking to real cryptos that let me hold my own keys.
Is that Hard Drive like an HDD that has to be connected inside the PC or can you access it without installing it inside the PC?
inb4 this guy wipes his own keys because he didn’t backup before reinstalling. jk
unlike your own tokens, BAT actually stands for something bigger than all of us and provides regular drops. BAT has value and you’re missing out on the privacy revolution
I think hes using M$ Windoze cos TelFiRE is a gamer https://www.instagram.com/telfiregames. Could be a Mac with that attitude but defo not Linux.
Two things. First of all, as @GreenBananaPorridge said, you can create an Uphold account directly on their Web site, then transfer your BAT there. You do NOT need a minimum number of BAT to do this. Keep in mind that this will use up one of your four life-time allotments of devices connected to Uphold.
Another option is to donate that BAT to your favorite content creator(s).
This here, doesn’t apply for PC:
So he had asked if you were using an Android Device (That 15 BAT is applicable in Android Devices). So its not his fault he got it wrong, its your fault to not get your points properly…
Secondly, you are the guy who are the most Toxic over here… He was just trying to help SO U TOO MUST WORK WITH HIM. I too have Caps Lock key and I can utilize it, not just you.
And this IS JUST TOO MUCH you can’t use those words over someone. And the Ironic thing is that he did say the right facts… He said:
Which is totally right. And he wasn’t rude ![]()
@boppinparty Sorry dude, some guys act like they own the world.
