Reddit videos not playing

Reddit videos are not playing, keeps loading forever even having good and fast internet connection. Some workaround like switching to https://old.reddit.com, and still not playing the video. Also tried to disable Brave Shield, video still not playing. Cleared browser’s browsing data, still not playing, even I browse in Private mode.

I tried to play the Reddit video using different browser (Firefox), and it plays.

How can this issue be reproduced?

1. Go to https://www.reddit.com/r/2philippines4u/comments/1kcogaa/leave_me_alone/
2. Play the video.

Expected result: Reddit video should play, depending on internet connection.

Brave Version( check About Brave): Version 1.78.94 Chromium: 136.0.7103.60 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information: Seems like the video in Reddit plays in different web browsers, but in Brave, it didn’t work.

@BeemoKincaid I’m unable to reproduce, the video is playing for me as expected. What OS are you using?

Video still not playing.

I tried this workaround, but it didn’t work. Also tried to disable “Block fingerprinting”, switched from “Aggressively block trackers & ads” I preferred, to its default value (Block trackers & ads), also tried to turn off Brave Shield, but still the video not playing.

I’m not sure which of these filter I checked cause the issue, I unchecked "AdGuard URL Tracking Protection Filter

Never used any VPN. I set my DNS to Google Public DNS both in Windows and my ISP router (PLDT Home Fiber).
