hello,

i was checking out the brave browser for ios when i noticed the website i administer has a red exclamation point instead of the padlock icon (in the address bar).

the site uses let’s encrypt and has a valid (current) cert. no such warnings in any other browser i tested (including safari on mobile) and looks like it’s isolated to just brave – brave does correctly show the padlock on other let’s encrypt/https sites i tried.

anyone know why that is?

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. visit site using brave on mobile
  2. receive exclamation point

Expected result:
padlock icon

Thank you for the information.
You mentioned that you don’t see it in Safari, do you have another browser such as Chrome that you can test against?
