Rant about sync

I created an account only to comment that the need for such acrobatics to make sync work is utterly idiotic. I don’t care what technical reasoning, specific excuses, etc are given. Brave was supposed to be The Browser, instead, I have to bully the thing to work. This issue is, as far as I can tell, the primary reason to a user who has the ability but not the time nor the patience to fully abandon this browser: I challenge ANY of you, search “sync”..what do you see? That this is considered “SOLVED” is just dumb. You can fix your bumper with duct tape, but it is crap repair and, beyond anything, a temporary solution. Brave: you led us on and have not delivered. I wish to shame the development team into doing the work necessary. Patching holes does not make a solution. About to opt out and happy I never donated a cent. I’ll use it when and where I want, but you guys o dropped the ball. Pick it up. Really: There’s a reason I will still use this after moaning over the sync feature being still, after 5 years of people complaining, a fully unaddressed issue seemingly for the purpose of permitting people to post chunks of mostly incomprehensible code: primarily, if I had to guess, to feel smart. This is a solution as much as, let me think: have to display my intellect, or the post is pointless: Ahem: What you present is, to reuse duct tape and assign a web browser the attributes of a single pane glass window. You painstakingly cover one side of the glass with strips of tape, entirely covering any potential of leakage of air or light. You then go to the other side of the window and break it. No glass spilled: I guess it isn’t broken, is it?
