Description of the issue:
Internet speed test VERY slow, but only when using Brave. This started within the last couple of days. I couldn’t figure it out because my router is giving me the normal 2GB I pay for, but when running speed test in Brave I am getting 600-700MB. Finally it hit me to try another browser, so I tried Edge and am getting the full 2GB. This is a new, fast PC, and I have a top-of-the-line router, also very fast. This problem just started. Before a day or so ago, I was getting fine speeds in Brave. My BIOS and all my drivers are up to date.
Edit: After uninstalling all extensions, turning Memory Saver on, then rebooting, I am up to 1.4MB. Edge is still giving me right at 2MB. Asus router internal speed test gives right at 2 GB as well.

- Go to Ookla speed test.
- Run speed test (in each browser).

Screenshots attached for each browser and the router results. Edge is 2 MB, Asus BQ16 Pro is 2 MB, Brave is the 1.4 MB one.
Expected result:
I would expect to see roughly the same speeds. I did a few days ago, but not now. Has there been a recent update?

I cannot stress enough that this just started happening out of the blue. My router is a beast and my internet connection is fast.
