I can’t help, sorry. I know nothing about iOS. Just posting a workaround from a Brave employee from a related topic. Also linked the Brave GitHub issue report. You might try the workaround and see if it works for you. Hope this helps. Take care.
Fix is coming sorry.
As a workaround you have to disable background play in settings and maybe use our playlist feature for the background play.
The fix should go live in 10 days or so
