Payout of gathered rewards before connecting to Uphold

I’ve been using Brave browser before there were options in my region to connect it to any custodial account. Now I finally got verified at Uphold, but only received the January rewards payout.

Can I get payout of the rewards I accumulated before connecting my account to Uphold?

Are my pre-Uphold connection Brave rewards lost?

Nope. You missed that window. They had announced like crazy about sunsetting of vBAT and gave a deadline to connect. If you didn’t get linked before the end of October, then none of that exists anymore.

Brave finally put a notice out officially today to let us know when vBAT is going to be going away. This means anyone who has vBAT but hasn’t connected to a custodial partner, such as Uphold or Gemini, will either need to have tipped the balance away or it will be forever lost. In regards to any countries getting support before then, it’s unlikely. India is getting Zebpay and no additional countries are likely to be added to Uphold again any time soon. Gemini is in the air on what’s going on…
