Origin Nightly purchase ID not working with Origin Beta

Description of the issue: I recently paid for a Brave Origin licence and began trying out the Nightly version on MacOS. When the Beta version for MacOS was released I downloaded it and tried to activate using the purchase ID I previously paid for. However it won’t work and comes up “Invalid Purchase ID”. I’ve double checked the ID from the original email and it is definitely correct.

Origin Build type (standalone or upgraded): Standalone

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu): MacOS and Brave Origin Beta arm64

Hi! Thanks for supporting Brave Origin in our initial testing phase. Did you install Beta Origin directly from the release page? If so, this may be why you’re seeing issues.

Right now, Origin is only available on 1.91x or later, which is currently the Nightly version. You won’t see it available on Beta just yet, but it’s coming.

Hi Evan, thanks for the reply. I’m slightly confused though as on the versions.brave.com page Origin Beta is shown as a public MacOS-arm64 version 1.91.87. If I click on that it takes me to the github page and I can download it in the assets section. I’m clearly misunderstanding something obvious, could you clarify?

Ah, I apologize we migrated Origin Beta standalone to 1.91x on Monday. I just tested and was able to successfully add my Purchase ID to this version.

Just to clarify, you’re using the Purchase ID and not the invoice number? Are you copy/pasting or entering manually? Thanks!

No problem. Form submitted. Yes I can confirm I’m definitely entering the purchase ID using copy/paste and not just typing it.
