Older version of Brave has a way to see all open tabs

In an older version of Brave to the the right of the tabs, there was a caret that allowed one to view all the open tabs - as one cannot scroll through multiple tabs (as in e.g. Firefox).

In the version of Brave I am using (v1.83.120 (Oct 22, 2025)), this is no longer avaialble.

As I tend to work on multiple domains concurrently, and I want to cross reference many different tabs, my options are to open many windows, cluttering my desktop, or to constrain one domain to one window, and be unable to see my tabs!

The other option would be to move away from Brave - but I like Brave, and this is the only niggle I am aware of - so it would be lovely to have a solution.

I have looked for ways to provide a way to view the tabs, but have been unable to find a solution like in Firefox, or the caret in an older version of Brave!

Any help would be most appreciated.

Hello - This was an upstream change from Chromium. https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/6363295

If you visit Settings –> Appearance –> Customize your toolbar, you can add the new version of the button.

@TTM the button is still there but its location and appearance changed. Instead of the little drop down caret, it now looks like image and appears just a little lower than it used to, but in the same general location.

If it’s not there on the toolbar as you’re seeing in my screenshot, then you may need to enable it as Evan123 mentioned. You can get there through Settings as he mentioned or you can right click on your Home image button and choose Customize Toolbar, at which point you can choose what buttons you want enabled/disabled.

Thank you so much - that was the solution!
