Seems to be working here and I am on the exact same build of Brave you are. Is it a specific URL because I went to the URL you posted, and it seems to load just fine.

Perhaps you have an extension that’s tinkering with the useragent, or something else?

@brou do you have Widevine enabled? Settings → Extensions

Hi @Saoiray ,

that was the “problem”, yes:

Out of habit, I always decline everything the sites request to enable, and I probably did the same with this mandatory Widevine extension.

In any case, to excuse my confusion a little, their error message was quite misleading…

Thanks.

@brou yes, you did not need to accept the prompt as you show in the last screenshot. That just appeared because you did not have it enabled. In Brave’s settings it existed as it already was in the browser. They just allow it to be on or of. If you’re not familiar with Widevine, it is a digital rights management (DRM) which is used by many websites to prevent people from pirating their content. Having it enabled means you can’t screen record copyrighted videos and it has other similar protections.

The error message given in general can be misleading. Widevine is often just added by default these days, so the website was assuming either you’re using an unsupported or outdated web browser.

Anyway, I’m glad it is resolved for you now.
