Not able to install Extensions from Chrome Web Store

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Go to the Chrome Web Store
  2. Look for an Extension, for example uMatrix or uBlock Origin or any other extension.
  3. Attempt to install it.
  4. I get “An error has occurred. Download Interrupted”

Expected result:
I should be able to install extensions without an issue.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.5.123 Chromium: 80.0.3987.163 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:
Using Edge Chromium I can install extensions just fine. Same with using Google Chrome.

Having the same problem to with a few extensions I’ve tried to install.

Issue seems to have been resolved. Was able to install uBlock Origin, uMatrix and a few others successfully.

Installing extensions appears broken but randomly, last time I checked. I don’t know if the issue has been fully resolved or not. Good that you had success.

I believe this issue has been resolved – even if not, simply retry the download a time or two and it should work.
