No password for my Brave Premium account

Description of the issue:

I subscribed to Brave Search Premium. I received a direct link by email that goes to my Brave user account, in which i found a link to Search Premium. However, I do not know the password associated with my Brave Premium account in the first place. I tried to log out and log back in with the email address used for that Premium account, and chose the password forgotten option. But I did not receive any email to create one.

The thing is, I now hesitate to subscribe to Leo Premium as i do not have any password, just a link. I need to use those premium features on other Profiles and devices.

Is there just no password on my Brave account ?

Correct. The link they send to your email is the passkey/password in itself.

Little confused as no such thing exists on the account.brave.com thing, which is where Premium is. And Search has no accounts. So I’d be curious what you visited where you hit something about not having a password. It’s possible something was added of which I’m unaware, but I’m not quite sure what you’re visiting and doing on that.

Unless you activated 2FA? If you have 2FA then after clicking the link it would ask you to put in the code from that…

So you would use the link on those profiles or devices. Just keep in mind it only works in Brave browser, so if you’re using other browsers on those devices then you wouldn’t be able to use it

Thanks for your reply. I did not see the homepage of account.brave.com I missed that information. I had in mind Kagi which provides a standard account.

When I log out of my Brave account (https://account.brave.com/account/), I was redirected to the login page of Brave Search API
