Description of the issue:
No longer blocking ads on youtube. Videos will not play. Says to disable ad blocker

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
trying play vids

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
says disable ad blocker all of a sudden

Expected result:
play that sh*t

Reproduces how often:
every time all of a sudden. Had no youtube issues until today

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Windows 10, Brave Version 1.59.124 Chromium: 118.0.5993.117 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Just checked, we’re still blocking youtube ads and no anti-adblock

Try updating too Release Notes v1.60.110 and also test youtube in private window mode.

i’m having a similar problem, but not exactly the same. every time i try to run adblock on youtube via brave shield it signs me out and i can’t sign in while it’s on, i get an error 400 message every time i try.

I have Disabled Shields.
I have cleared all site cookies and site-data, then refreshed - no change.

Edit:
Running in a Private window works…

Edit 2:
If you have properly updated and disabled everything - start removing extensions. I had my VPN off, but it still triggered on YouTube.

Should be resolved now, just clear the cookies/cache on YT (then relogin) if its still occuring
