Mysterious walkme.com subframe

Description of the issue:

I would like to know what this Subframe: https://walkme.com/ process is all about. I have “googled” the heck out of it and have not come up with much. I do not see this process in Chrome. I am fairly sure it’s not related to an extension because I only have four extensions in Brave which are all in Chrome, plus some.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open Brave’s Task Manager
  2. Sort by Task
  3. Look for Subframe: https://walkme.com/

Expected result:
NA

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.10.93 Chromium: 83.0.4103.106 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:
Extensions in Brave (which are also in Chrome):

  • Lastpass
  • TabSnap (my own creation, available in the store)
  • DarkReader
  • IPFS Companion

update your brave to latest version which is
Version 1.22.71 Chromium: 89.0.4389.114 (Official Build) (64-bit)
 right now

and it could be related to cache or issue with one of your extension

but upgrade first

To confirm, “walkme” is definitely not anything that Brave is doing – when do you see these processes appear ? Is it on browser start or when visiting a specific website? Additionally, are you on a home network, or a corporate/company network?
