We need to add fill screen Support on android devices like apple already have also for YouTube! It still missing

For one, rebooting a phone isn’t going to fix a feature that doesn’t exist. I don’t know why that was even recommended.

Second, what you’re specifically asking for is cropping. Remember VHS movies that said “This movie has been modified from it’s source, and has been formatted to fit this screen”? That’s what iPhone’s do, they crop off to fit the ultrawide aspect ratio. That could be added as an option.

As is though, full screen does work, and your title specifically says it’s missing (while asking for a “specific” kind of full screen which involves chopping off parts of the picture).

(Even ambient mode works, though the video I’m watching is dark.)

The official Android YouTube app however does have the mode you’re asking for, “Zoom” is what they call it:

So Android has it, just not through a browser. You said “like an iPhone” so yea, that option does exist, through the official app. However when you said “like an iPhone” you didn’t specify if that was through a browser or the official YouTube app. Because again, that’s not quite Apple there, that’s a feature of YouTube itself in their official app on both iOS and Android.

As for 2-finger full screen, I’m not sure I honestly understand, unless that’s a phone specific feature. I’m on AOSP, as generic Android as it gets, and that is not a thing. But simply tapping the fullscreen button once works.

Hi I mean the zoom fill option in the brave browser don’t work with the android Xaiomi 17 Pro Max it works only on iPhones so this is what the brave support should fix
